From the International Institute for Sustainable Development:
Canadian Sustainability Indicators Network (CSIN) is a one-of-a-kind Canadian network with a mission to foster sustainability indicator development and the effective use of sustainability indicators in decision-making. CSIN works towards realizing the potential of indicators in achieving systemic and measurable progress towards sustainable development.

CSIN furthers the development and use of sustainability indicators across Canada. Over 230 indicator practitioners are brought together by the network to share, learn and collaborate. As sustainability indicator practice continues to expand world-wide, CSIN plays a potentially vital role in raising the bar of indicator practice at national, provincial, municipal and community levels, ultimately leading to a society that is better equipped to make decisions in our complex world.
