The Adaptation Strategies for European Cities project together with the City of Aalborg has the pleasure to invite you to a one day Stakeholder Dialogue on climate change adaptation for cities in the Baltic and North Sea regions.
The Aalborg Stakeholder Dialogue is the first of three that are being organised across Europe followed by Burgas, Bulgaria (29th June) and Ancona, Italy (11th July), inviting city delegations, other regional or national stakeholders as well as European experts.
The 3rd International Urban Researchers' Symposium at the ICLEI World Congress 2012 will bring together researchers from around the globe who focus on urban sustainability, sustainability cities, eco-cities and sustainable communities. The symposium will convene researchers to exchange their concepts, studies, findings and ideas for future research, and to enable them to exchange with local government practitioners in order to strengthen the link between research and practice.
Between the 15th and the 23rd of June of this year, will occur the People’s Summit for Social and Environmental Justice in Rio +20 at Flamengo, in Rio de Janeiro. The global civil society, organizations, collectives and social movements will occupy the landfill to propose a new way of living on the planet, in solidarity against the commodification of nature and in defense of the commons.
