ChangeSFU Sustainability Symposium

ChangeSFU is a student-run environmental activism club based out of Simon Fraser University. This semester we are organizing a TEDx style event on campus, March 24th, from 5:30pm-8:00pm regarding sustainability and the environment, in an effort to educate students and the general public about the progress world leaders are making in the environmental field.

So far confirmed we have:

Mark Roseland, the leading developer of Pando, who is also a professor at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and the Director of the Centre for Sustainable Community Development at SFU.

Andrea Reimer, Vancouver's city councilor in charge of the Greenest City Action Plan,

Connie Linder, an entrepreneur and multi-award winner in sustainability and leadership,

Bob Peart, the Executive Director of the NGO Sierra Club, and

Jen creator of "Just Eat It", a critically acclaimed food waste documentary and creator of The Clean Bin Project

The symposium will be held at Simon Fraser University in room 10081 Saywell Hall.
